We are pleased to inform you that the Algerian Society of Hydient Echinococcosis (SAEH) is organizing its second national congress, which will take place from 6 to 8 September 2018 at the Hotel El Aurassi, Algiers. It will be paired with the Badajoz International Video Medicine Congress “VIDEOMED” and with the World Association of Medical and Health Films (WAMHF). Among the expected participants, eminent specialists on Hydatid disease, video medicine and telemedicine from several countries will be among us, to share their experience and expertise in these fields (Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium, Tunisia). , Morocco, Argentina, China, Costa Rica, Senegal ..)
Why “VIDEOMED Algeria 2018”?
“VIDEOMED” is an international medical film competition focusing on all aspects of healthcare and particularly on the new technologies of communication, computing and its relationship with the medical image in a common confluence towards Telemedicine which is a component of health TV. It was founded by Andrés Bas who was the pioneer in image formation on world medicine. He has helped to encourage all new video productions in the field of medicine, diagnosis, treatment and research worldwide, including laparoscopic techniques, video-guided surgery and robotics.
In Algeria it is necessary to focus on the development of digital and digital communication that facilitates the dissemination of scientific knowledge as well as the development of research, teaching and dissemination of scientific image.
The development of technologies, the decrease of their cost and their diffusion in the most remote regions of the country will allow the access to the care of many populations thanks to telemedicine which is a form of remote medical practice using the technologies of information and communication. It connects, among themselves or with a patient, one or more health professionals.
In this environment, Telemedicine represents a potential for the immediate future. Its application in: economy, health, selective advertising, commerce, politics, security will change the old concepts and their uses, which is a response to the challenges facing the supply of care today.
Our three-day scientific event will be divided into three parts:
– 1st day: Hydatid Disease.
– 2nd day: Telemedicine
– 3rd day: The International Competition of Videomedicine
1st day: Hydatid Disease.
The program for this day will allow participants to follow the news on hydatid disease.
We take this opportunity to announce that the antiparasitic drug “Albendazol” has received authorization to be manufactured locally, and will be available soon for patients.
A development by national and international experts will enable specialists, general practitioners and all those interested in hydatid disease, to better manage its management.
The program for this day will include lectures by national and foreign speakers (World Health Organization, World Association of Echinococcosis ..).

Red thread: Strategy for the medical management of the Hydatid Cyst

Round table: Classical Surgery and Video Surgery in the management of Hydatid Cyst.
In the theme of this day, the submission of abstracts is exclusively displayed (posters): see the model below. The Format is in Word, Time New Roman font, Size 12 and in portrait mode 150cmx90cm
You can submit your abstracts on the conference e-mail address. An e-mail ruling on the acceptance or not of your abstract, will be sent after meeting of the scientific committee.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 August 2018.
The 3 awards of the SAEH: Soltane AMEUR Prize, Bachir MENTOURI Prize and Ghallil DJILLALI Prize, will be awarded, to the displayed papers selected by the jury
2nd day: Dedicated to Telemedicine hosted by national and international speakers
– 3rd day: An International Videomedicine Competition consisting of an international jury AND chaired by Professor Andrés Bas (President of WAMHF and VIDEOMED).
